    This is a modern version of the 1959 Lafite, rated 100! 2003 was one of the great years for Lafite Rothschild. It is represented of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 95 Merlot, 3%Cabernet Franc and 25 Petit Verdot. This wine shows enormous depth, sharp fruit and a tingling finish that glides with oak and gentle spice. Mesmerizing. In respect of richness, purity and intensity it is almost perfect.

Its sumptuous, racy fruit character is perfectly integrated with the wine's subtle brioche accents. Armand contains a multi-vintage blend of the following grapes at these proportions: 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Menuier.
